Senior Golang Engineer
Remote within the US
Long-term contract

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to support the migration of legacy systems and the modernization of APIs to align with ITGC (IT General Controls) standards. This role is crucial to ensuring our integration with new systems evolves effectively while building audit-ready, future-proof data pipelines.

Project Scope and Responsibilities:

Migrate the current systems to integrate directly with a new solution.
Collaborate with the internal teams to support their transition to new solutions as needed.
Modernize the commissions API by designing and delivering a tokenized, reportable structure aligned with ITGC standards
Ensure data is passed accurately and securely to support audit readiness
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure required data is transferred appropriately
Contribute to architectural discussions and provide hands-on coding support for new and existing systems

Required Technical Skills:

7-10 years overall development experience in Golang
Strong experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
Proficiency in Spring Boot
Experience with Java or Python for backend development
Familiarity with containerization tools
Experience with AWS technologies including ECS/Fargate, CloudFormation, SQS, and Lambda
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders and teams
