Golf Groundskeeper - Golf Course

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Golf Groundskeeper to perform assigned grounds maintenance of the golf course. Operates small landscaping equipment (i.e. mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, edgers, etc) and other specialized equipment in the general maintenance of all areas of the golf course grounds. Operates equipment utilizing proper safety standards and is knowledgeable about and utilizes procedural safety standards at all times.

This position require the incumbent to work in a customer-based environment and have strong customer service skills; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds and with high energy, intense personalities; and work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Three months of related experience


• Valid driver's license
