Goodmiles Running Company | Retail Store Manager

Goodmiles Running Company is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our Brookfield team, drive sales, and create exceptional customer experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, building a successful sales team, and taking ownership of their store. You'll lead a small team of Fit Experts, work alongside them on the sales floor, oversee daily operations, and help strengthen Goodmiles' connection to the local running and fitness community.

You don't need to be a marathon runner or a footwear expert. We can teach you the shoes. We're looking for someone who understands retail, knows how to lead a team, and takes pride in achieving results.

What You'll Do

• Lead & Develop Your Team: Recruit, train, and coach a team of 4–6 Fit Experts, foster accountability and teamwork.


• Drive Sales Performance: Monitor sales goals, track performance, and coach your team to improve selling skills, conversion, and results.


• Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences: Lead by example through personalized fittings, thoughtful recommendations, and outstanding service.


• Manage Store Operations: Oversee scheduling, staffing, inventory, merchandising, and daily procedures to keep the store running smoothly.


• Build Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in footwear and fit technology while helping your team become confident product experts.


• Strengthen Community Connections: Represent Goodmiles at local events and build relationships with running clubs, fitness organizations, and community partners.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of retail management experience (full-service retail environment preferred)


• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a sales team


• Experience managing sales goals, performance metrics, and operational expectations


• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills


• Confidence making decisions, addressing challenges, and holding employees accountable


• A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in helping people


• Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to lead by example


• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods

Experience in footwear, apparel, sporting goods, fitness, or specialty retail is a plus, but not required.

Above all, we're looking for a manager who enjoys being on the sales floor, knows how to bring out the best in their team, and takes ownership of their store's success.

What We Offer

Pay & Schedule

• $45,000-$50,000/year; combination of weekly base pay and commission. Actual earnings vary by performance.
