About the Client:
Our client is a leading organization in the premium retail health and wellness industry. As they transition from Google Analytics 3 (GA3) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), they seek a highly skilled consultant to lead this critical migration. This role involves working onsite 4 days a week in Hollywood, CA, ensuring the migration is seamless and efficient.

Position Overview:
The Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Migration Consultant will lead the migration from GA3 to GA4, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to the client's data operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google BigQuery and strong data modeling skills. This role requires a fast-track, targeted intervention to meet project timelines and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead GA3 to GA4 Migration:
Plan, execute, and manage the end-to-end migration from GA3 to GA4.
Develop a comprehensive migration strategy, including timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure accurate data mapping and validation between GA3 and GA4.

BigQuery Integration:
Utilize Google BigQuery for advanced data analysis and reporting.
Integrate GA4 data with BigQuery to enable seamless data flow and comprehensive analytics.

Data Modeling:
Design and implement robust data models to support GA4 reporting and analysis.
Optimize data structures for efficiency and scalability.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, and Data Science, to align on migration goals and requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on migration progress and performance metrics.

Training and Documentation:
Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate internal teams on GA4 features and functionalities.
Create detailed documentation of the migration process, including best practices and troubleshooting guides.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Stay updated with the latest developments in GA4 and related technologies to ensure the organization leverages the most advanced tools and techniques.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in web analytics, with a focus on Google Analytics.
Proven track record of successfully migrating from GA3 to GA4.
Extensive experience with Google BigQuery and data modeling.
Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes.

Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and advanced querying techniques.
Solid knowledge of GA4 features, capabilities, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Certifications:
Google Analytics certification is highly desirable.
Additional certifications in BigQuery, data science, or related fields are a plus.
