About Us

Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop was born in Pittsburgh, PA, in 2012. We've grown from a single store to 23 locations (and counting!) across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, Minnesota, and Texas. We also offer national distribution of candy, soda, and gourmet popcorn to over 15,000 independent retailers nationwide.

The Role

As our Gourmet Popcorn Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in producing one of Grandpa Joe's fastest-growing product lines. You'll oversee popcorn production from start to finish, ensuring every batch meets our standards for quality, consistency, and freshness.

This position is responsible for scheduling production, maintaining equipment, monitoring inventory, ordering popcorn kernels, oils, seasonings, coatings, packaging, and other production supplies. You'll also personally produce our signature gourmet popcorn by popping, coating, seasoning, packaging, and preparing each batch for distribution to our retail stores and wholesale customers.

Because popcorn production varies based on demand, production will not occur every day. During non-production times, you'll become an important part of our retail team by assisting customers, stocking merchandise, merchandising displays, and helping create the fun, memorable shopping experience Grandpa Joe's is known for.

Here's What We're Looking For

Production Leader: You enjoy creating quality products, staying organized, and taking pride in producing consistent results. Previous food production, commercial kitchen, manufacturing, or supervisory experience is preferred.

Organized & Detail-Oriented: You'll set production schedules, monitor inventory, order production supplies, and ensure everything is ready when it's time to produce.

Hands-On: You're comfortable operating production equipment, performing routine cleaning and preventative maintenance, and keeping your work area organized, safe, and food-safe.

Quality Focused: You care about consistency and take pride in producing products that meet Grandpa Joe's high standards every single time.
