About the Role

Diamond Locating Services, a division of Diamond Concrete Sawing, is looking for an experienced GPR Locating Specialist who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and doing things right the first time.

This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who already knows locating and can confidently identify subsurface hazards before cutting or excavation begins.

What You’ll Do

• Review job scope, site plans, and client requirements before heading to the field


• Use ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic locating equipment to identify utilities, conduits, rebar, and post tension cables


• Clearly mark subsurface features according to industry standards


• Communicate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure jobs run smoothly


• Maintain accurate documentation, including data logs, photos, and field notes


• Keep your vehicle, locating equipment, and PPE clean, organized, and job-ready


• Represent Diamond professionally on job sites and with clients

What You Bring

• Proven experience in utility locating GPR scanning


• Strong professional understanding of subsurface detection methods and jobsite safety


• Ability to read plans and translate findings clearly to crews and clients


• Strong communication and professionalism in the field


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
