## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Technologies, Inc.\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e GPU ASICS Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\n.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Master\u0027s degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. \n\u2022 1+ year of relevant GPU experience.\n\n\u2022 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n\u2022 Applies GPU knowledge to assist in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and/or optimization of the performance and power of GPU cores.\n\n\u2022 Assists in building functional model simulations, developing software, and testing for various graphics to verify correctness.\n\n\u2022 Programs and runs graphics tests using tools and methods to assess functionality, performance, and power.\n\n\u2022 Collaborates with team members to guide implementation and ensure alignment with needs and goals.\n\n\u2022 Assists in the development of driver and compiler software to support GPU products.\n\n\u2022 Writes technical documentation and feature descriptions for GPU projects.\n\nLevel of Responsibility: \n\u2022 Works under supervision. \n\u2022 Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.\n\n\u2022 Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information. \n\u2022 Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
