## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Technologies, Inc.\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e GPU ASICS Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nWe are seeking an accomplished Principal\u2011 or Director\u2011level technical leader to lead a high\u2011performance RTL Design and Design Verification organization focused on Qualcomm family of GPU development. This role requires deep hands\u2011on technical expertise, combined with proven people leadership, to drive architectural excellence, execution rigor, and product delivery at scale. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of direct, relevant semiconductor industry experience, including leading, developing and mentoring high performance teams (11+ engineers), while remaining actively engaged in architecture, RTL micro\u2011architecture, verification strategy, and critical technical decisions.\n\nThe ideal candidate would have/able to demonstrate the following:\n\n * Provide hands\u2011on technical leadership across RTL design and design verification, including architecture reviews, micro\u2011architecture definition, RTL quality, and verification completeness\n * Actively participate in design reviews, verification strategy reviews, debug of complex issues, and resolution of high\u2011impact schedule or quality risks\n * Drive best\u2011in\u2011class RTL quality, verification coverage, and sign\u2011off discipline across Qualcomm GPU family of products\n * Influence and shape architecture tradeoffs related to performance, power, area (PPA), scalability, and product robustness\n * Champion adoption of modern verification methodologies, including constrained\u2011random, coverage\u2011driven verification, assertions, formal techniques, and automation\n * Excellent communication, organizational and people leadership skills \n * Proven program and execution excellence\n\n\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n * Build, lead, and scale a high\u2011performance organization of at least 11+ RTL and DV engineers, including senior technical RTL and Design Verification leads\n * Set clear technical direction, execution priorities, and accountability across multiple parallel programs\n * Mentor and develop engineers at all levels, fostering strong technical depth, ownership, and engineering excellence\n * Partner closely with cross\u2011functional leaders in architecture, physical design, software, SoC, and program management to ensure seamless execution\n * Own hiring strategy, succession planning, performance management, and career development for the organization\n * Participate in program design reviews and drive predictable and disciplined execution from micro-architecture through RTL freeze and verification sign\u2011off\n * Ensure alignment between technical milestones, staffing plans, and program schedules\n * Proactively identify risks and lead mitigation strategies to keep programs on track without compromising quality\n * Establish and optimize processes, metrics, and best practices that enable scale, reuse, and sustained execution velocity\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n * Possesses a Master\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering\n * 20+ years of direct, relevant semiconductor industry experience in RTL design and/or design verification\n * Proven track record managing large, high\u2011performance engineering teams\n * Deep expertise in RTL design (SystemVerilog/Verilog) and design verification methodologies\n * Extensive experience delivering complex GPU, CPU, and/or ASIC designs from micro-architecture through silicon\n * Strong understanding of micro\u2011architecture, verification planning, coverage, debug, and tape\u2011out readiness\n * Ability to remain technically hands\u2011on while operating effectively at the executive and organizational leadership level\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
