Manufacturing Associate – Recent Graduate (Upstream Bioprocessing)

We’re hiring a recent graduate to join our upstream manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Associate. This is an ideal first role for someone who’s completed a Bachelor’s degree in a life science field and gained some hands-on exposure to bioreactors or cell culture through a university lab, internship, or co-op.

This is a full-time, on-site position offering in-depth training and the opportunity to grow within a cutting-edge biologics manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with upstream operations such as cell thawing, expansion, and bioreactor setup
• Support media and buffer preparation under GMP conditions
• Monitor critical parameters like pH and dissolved oxygen during upstream runs
• Accurately document work in batch records and follow all SOPs
• Work within a cleanroom and aseptic environment, maintaining strict quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with experienced manufacturing and quality teams as part of your training

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field (Class of 2023 or 2024 only)
• Some exposure to upstream techniques (e.g. bioreactors, cell culture, media prep), either in an academic lab, internship, or co-op
• Understanding of GMP or aseptic techniques is helpful, but not required — training will be provided
• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
