About the Role


“Memories, mastery, and moments of ah-ha!”


This describes teaching Elementary School at Wood Acres. Teachers work with our accelerated curriculum to achieve student mastery in areas of reading and mathematics, with additional integrated learning experiences in science and social studies. Our teachers also encourage students to be inquisitive, while showing them that learning happens all around them—not just at school. We build memories, work towards mastery, and celebrate moments of “ah-ha!” along the way!


Skills and Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

    • Advanced degree preferred



  • Teacher credentials as specified under state regulations preferred

  • 3 -5 years of teaching experience required.

  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with technology and commitment to the unique role it plays in the education arena of the 21st Century.

  • Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
