Job Description - Grant Consultant - Unlimited Growth Potential

We are currently accepting resumes for a Grant Consultant position in Columbus, OH.
This position is Remote.
Salary Range: $87k-$97k

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Assists, supports, and occasionally leads grant award lifecycle requirements for the Company and Business Units. Helps ensure proper application, submission, compliance, and maximum utilization of grant funding from Federal, State, and other grant funding sources. Duties include cross-departmental data collection; composition of narratives and action plans; grant reporting; assisting departments in applying for, managing, and complying with requirements of grants.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks :
" Provide assistance to department in grant applications and submittal process through federal portals or other agency required formats.
" Supports the development and implementation of grant applications and compliance documents.
" Maintains relationship with grantors, internal and external organizations throughout grant lifecycle.
" Supports with the coordination with appropriate business units to develop/enhance budgets, community benefit plans, and technical volumes.
" Supports work with appropriate business units to define sustainable community engagement activities related to the grant project and service locations.
" Compile research documentation with proper citation that supports the purpose and sustainability of project goals.
" Supports Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement (NICRA) activity as needed.
" Supports the development and maintenance of periodic (as required) reports to ensure grant funding is received in a timely manner.
" Supports the grant closeout process to ensure all requirements are met and all funding has been received.
" Supports coordination with Regulatory to prepare and issue regular reports to support regulatory filings.
" Supports on the interpretation of relevant OMB Circular s as well as other related Federal and State regulations and legislation.
" Provides regular updates to all stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor's degree Public Administration or similar field.
Experience: With a Bachelor s, need 5 years of grant writing, project management, or business development experience; Associate s degree, need 7 years of experience

Additional Requirements :
" Solid written and oral communication and presentation skills.
" Must possess analytical skills and evaluation techniques.
" Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
" Ability to manage multiple projects with close attention to detail.
" Able to attend relevant trainings and seminars.
" Familiar with Windows Office Suite and able to quickly acclimate to new software.
" Familiar with Federal funding portals such as SAM, eXCHANGE, ASAP, etc.

Remote role. Candidates must be located within client footprint states - Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Potential for occasional travel within operating company. Please ensure travel and expense guidelines are reviewed with selected candidate.
Please stay within max rate - may consider slightly above max. bill rate for highly qualified candidates.
May require some in-office work at local office.
