Client Summary:The nation's largest municipal health care delivery system in the United States dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.
Summary of Need: - Write compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents, in alignment with funder requirements and organizational objectives
- Work closely with IT and finance departments to gather necessary information, align proposals with technical and budgetary requirements, and ensure project feasibility, Submission and Follow-Up
- Manage the submission process, adhere to deadlines, and conduct follow-ups as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of proposals, reports, and correspondence in the grants management system
- Assist with the preparation of interim and final reports to funders, ensuring compliance with grant condition
- Identify and evaluate grant opportunities relevant to IT projects in the healthcare sector
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Information Technology, or a related field
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing,
- Candidate must have previous experience within the healthcare or IT sector(s) Exceptional Writing: Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts in clear, persuasive language
- Organizational Abilities: Excellent time management skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management principles to contribute to proposal development and execution
- Financial Acumen: Competence in developing project budgets and understanding financial reports
- Research Proficiency: Skilled at conducting thorough research to identify grant opportunities and understand funder priorities
Shift/Schedule:Bachelors Degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing, Candidate must have previous experience within the healthcare or IT sector(s)
