Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Grants & Funding Specialist for Mote & Associates in Greenville, Ohio. This full-time, on-site position plays an important role in helping current and prospective municipal clients identify and pursue funding opportunities for civil engineering projects. The position supports clients throughout the funding process, from researching opportunities and preparing applications through award facilitation and funding administration during design and construction.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Grants & Funding Specialist will provide funding coordination, preparation, and administration for grants and loans received from federal, state, and local governmental agencies. This individual will guide clients through potential funding opportunities and applications while supporting the administrative requirements associated with successfully funded projects.

COMPENSATION
• $60,000-$80,000 Base Salary

ROLE
• Research federal, local government, and private funding opportunities available to support clients within the company's marketing areas
• Guide clients through potential funding opportunities and application processes
• Coordinate and prepare grant and loan applications
• Facilitate the award process for successful funding applications
• Administer grants and loans received from federal, state, and local governmental agencies for municipalities
• Oversee contractor pay requests associated with funded projects
• Complete administrative tasks required to request funds on behalf of clients during the design and/or construction phase
• Maintain documentation associated with funding activities
• Work directly with clients throughout the funding process

Requirements
• Grant Training REQUIRED
• Familiarity And Experience With Funding Services For Civil Engineering Projects REQUIRED
• Microsoft Word, Excel, And PowerPoint Skills REQUIRED
• Database And Report Management Knowledge REQUIRED
• Good Communication Skills REQUIRED
• Good Public Relations Skills REQUIRED
• Good Documentation Skills REQUIRED
