Description
The Grants and Prospect Coordinator will support PJ Library’s® robust grant and major giving programs and report to the Director of Grants Management. This hybrid role will support the advancement department through grants coordination, grant and prospect research, portfolio management, moves management, prospect tracking, and general database support, as needed.

Data Responsibilities
This position requires effective research as well as organizational and analytical skills. Must exercise a high degree of independent judgment, initiative, confidentiality, organization, communication and problem-solving skills. Must maintain effective communication systems, written and oral, with leadership, the advancement team, other departments, donors, prospects, and program officers.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree.
· A minimum of 3 years' experience in fundraising in a nonprofit organization.
· Ability to leverage technology to enhance fundraising efforts.
· Knowledge of the fundraising cycle and the role of foundation grants and prospect development within it.
· Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend solutions.
· Self-disciplined and action-oriented with the ability to complete complex projects independently.
· Strong written skills, including editing and proofreading, to translate data for various stakeholders.
· Ability to develop a thorough understanding of HGF and PJ Library’s mission, vision, and offerings.
· Strong attention to detail, especially with names and financial data.
· Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
· Strong collaborative skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
· Creative and resourceful mindset with a proactive approach.
· Knowledge of ethics statements by APRA, Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and other related associations.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, including superior Excel skills, and online databases.
· Preference for previous experience using Raiser’s Edge NXT, and Salesforce
Location
This is a hybrid role from our home office in Agawam, MA. Hybrid employees are expected onsite 60% of the time.
Compensation
A competitive salary ranging from $65,000–$75,000 annually commensurate with experience.
