An internationally recognized 39 year-old Florida-based medical education company is seeking a full-time, in-house creative Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist. The position requires a strong background in both print and electronic graphic design formats. Must be a self-starter, team player, and willing to commute to our downtown St. Petersburg office. Looking for an in-person ( not remote ) graphics specialist / marketing liaison.
GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:
Work in a team environment to creatively design content for marketing our products / services to new and existing customers across various marketing mediums. This position will involve working with various departments and our contracted marketing firm to effectively promote medical education courses, products and services.
PRINT MEDIA:
Work alongside our technical team and marketing firm to create layout and design ideas for brochures, postcards, sales packets, and journal/magazine ads (when needed).
Skills needed include copywriting, attention to detail, Adobe Creative Suite proficient, Canva Pro experience a plus, and

preparation/delivery

of digital assets for commercial printers.
DIGITAL-BASED MEDIA:
Conceive, layout and launch eBlasts and eNewsletters.
Skills needed include: copywriting, the use of Adobe Creative Suite products, We also utilize Canva Pro Teams.
Preparation and delivery of e-Blasts using Constant Contact or a similar distribution platform.
Help develop and implement sales promotion

packages/announcements

for company produced educational products, including online education activities in proprietary LMS (learning management system)
Help maintain and update website customer experience (CX) (liaise with in-house web developer and outside digital marketing firm to provide artwork/graphics if needed for: web banners, any new web page requirements, info updates, etc.)
Basic understanding of SEO principles to work along-side in-house web developer and outside digital marketing firm to maintain top SEO listing objectives.
Implement social media marketing initiatives via Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin Tictok, YouTube, and other avenues using current best practices.
Create content with marketing team for PPC campaigns and metrics to optimize creative strategies being implemented by marketing firm (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube)
GENERAL MARKETING DUTIES:
Create visually appealing graphics and designs for various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media posts, and website banners.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts and ideas for new projects.
Ensure that all designs are in line with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
Use color management techniques to ensure accurate and consistent color reproduction across different mediums.
Design needed logos that effectively represent the brand and its values.
Develop user-friendly web graphics that enhance the user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role.
Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design projects. Familiarity with Canva is a plus.
Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design principles.
Experience in logo design and creating visually appealing branding materials.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
Maintain timely calendar listings of meetings to existing list of medical journals, society newsletters, and outside websites.
Develop graphics marketing campaigns for: Customer and educator loyalty programs, seminar alumni program, and selected physician specialty markets.
Seek alternative avenues for cost-effective

advertising/marketing
Maintain quality proofreading for all marketing activities.
Ensure live and online courses are advertised in a timely manner (in advance of the event) for print, website, social media, and e-blast promotions.
Participate in planning meetings to develop new business and effectively market.
Maintain an open forum of communication with staff and management.
Eventually understand of accreditation

policies/procedures

and essentials to develop marketing materials in accordance with national guidelines.
