The Graphic Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the Graphics Department, including production planning, workflow coordination, team supervision, quality control, material and equipment readiness, and on-time completion of graphic deliverables. This position works closely with the Graphics Director and cross-functional partners to ensure graphic production is completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and ECI standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Graphics Department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; recognizing strong performance and addressing performance concerns; responding to employee questions or concerns; and helping resolve department-related issues.

This position regularly works in both office and production environments. The employee may be required to stand and walk for extended periods; work at a computer or production workstation; bend, reach, climb approved ladders, and move graphic materials; and work near production equipment, inks, adhesives, and other chemicals used in graphic pro-duction. Employees may be exposed to skin irritation and fumes from chemical solutions and inks. There is also a risk of cuts and bruises while operating equipment, handling supplies, or working with finished products. The employee may be asked to perform light physical duties, lift graphic materials, and climb ladders. Additionally, loud noise from fabrication shop equipment may be present. The employee must use required personal protective equipment and follow applicable safety procedures. To perform work safely, functional near, far, and peripheral vision, as well as adequate hearing, may be required as directed by leadership.
