Graphic Specialist

King Retail Solutions, a leading designer and manufacturer of retail design and decor, is looking for a detail-oriented Graphic Specialist to join our Print Department team and help turn artwork and specifications into accurate production-ready files. This hands-on role supports multiple work centers and plays a key part in delivering high-quality products on time. The typical production schedule of a Graphic Specialist is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. Extended hours and Saturdays may be required during our busiest times. 

Position Summary:

The Graphic Specialist will use department specific software along with provided details and artwork to produce files for use in various production departments and work centers. The Graphic Specialist will perform a variety of tasks and operate tools and machinery in the department to assure the production art team is successful in delivering quality and on time products to the customer and other work centers.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with supervisor to review artwork for accuracy
• Create accurate comprehensive files and products for the next work center
• Communicate with upstream and downstream personnel / departments to ensure accuracy  and completeness of jobs.
• Perform related tasks such as plotting, weeding, masking, or other assigned tasks
• Become proficient in the basic operations and understand other work centers in the department to provide back up when needed.
• Displays a positive attitude, is dependable, flexible, and accepts new tasks and responsibilities 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Time  and project management skills
• Ability to follow directions, understand and interpret job paperwork, details, and written instructions
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and department specific software and equipment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Attention to detail and adheres to KRS quality standards

Education & Experience:

HS Diploma or GED Equivalent; one to two years’ work related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
