Graveyard Cashier FT, $19.18/hr + benefits

Position: Cashier/Associate on Graveyard Shift (Overnight Shift)

Wage: $19.18 per hour

Scheduling: Four 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Location: River Rock Tobacco & Fuel off of Exit 210

Job Duties:

• Follow compliance with register operations policies and procedures


• Enforce compliance for age restricted sales


• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service


• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements


• Accurately and efficiently ring up customers on registers and accurately maintain all cash and paperwork at the registers


• Communicate customer requests to management


• Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked


• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change


• Be compliant with established store policies and standards, such as safekeeping funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedure

Position Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required or be willing to obtain one within a two year period.


• Basic math knowledge.


• Customer service experience preferred. Cash handling not required but considered a plus!


• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test (pre-hire drug test does not test for THC).
