  • Setup and operation of case erector and case sealer equipment, requesting boxes from the warehouse, palletize boxes according to spec, verifying correct case match product to specification, change tape rolls out, follow shearer’s GMP and food quality according to the SQF, wrapping and labeling of pallets according to company standards, conduct quality checks, clear faults on automated case makers, order boxes, complete a detailed shift hand off”. Ensure equipment is in good working order and free from debris, endure box maker and/or case sealer is running and constantly re-stocked with boxes, tape, other tasks as assigned.
  
  
  
  

  What you bring to the party:

  The Automated Package Machine Operator position is accountable for the consistent delivery of empty cases to the ACPs and maintenance of case erector and/or case sealer equipment.

  
  
  
  
  • Performs quality Checks.
  
  
  • Performs routine cleaning of equipment.
  
  
  • Restock/order boxes.
  
  
  • Verify case matching.
  
  
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, operation of the case erector and sealer.
  
  
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals.
  
  
  • Performs regular preventive maintenance on equipment.
  
  
  • Uses GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  
  
  • Detects faulty operations and defective material; reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  
  
  • Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas
