• Job Opportunity: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Position
• Hourly Rate: $25.00 (with overtime available)
• Hours: 6am - 2:30pm - Full Time 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain impeccable appearance of sales area through effective merchandising and attention to plant health.
• Assist customers in selecting seasonal annuals, houseplants, herbs, and vegetables.
• Ensure a safe and pleasant shopping environment by organizing plants, tagging prices accurately, and maintaining plant health through watering, feeding, and grooming.
• Strategically merchandise plant material to optimize sales.
• Assist in unloading plant deliveries and ensure accurate pricing and display on the sales floor.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchases as needed, keeping team members and management informed.

Education & Experience:

• Basic horticultural knowledge with a focus on annuals, vegetables, herbs, and houseplants, acquired through formal training, on-the-job experience, or personal gardening.
• Previous retail experience required; general gardening knowledge preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in receiving, displaying, selling, and caring for houseplants, annuals, herbs, and vegetable plants.
• Exceptional customer service skills, treating all customers and colleagues with respect.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing excellent customer care.
• Physical stamina and strength for lifting and moving plants, especially during deliveries.
• Reliable and passionate about plants and the outdoors, capable of working in all weather conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
