Greenlight Networks - Make-Ready Field Superintendent

Greenlight Networks is seeking a Make Ready Field Superintendent to manage small- to large-scale construction projects, oversee subcontractors, and ensure all field operations meet company standards. This role requires strong leadership to coordinate labor and schedules, drive projects to on-time and cost-effective completion, and maintain high quality and safety standards. The superintendent will serve as the on-site point of contact, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and full compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.

  Site Supervision: Direct all on-site construction activities, managing subcontractors, tradespeople, and foremen to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality work.

  Project Coordination: Partner with pre-construction coordinators to plan and track progress, resolve issues, and maintain schedules. Assist with project meetings as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Timeline Management: Monitor project schedules, anticipate delays, and adjust plans to keep work on track and resources used efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Quality & Safety Control: Ensure all work meets Greenlight Networks’ quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits on-site.

  Subcontractor Oversight: Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring work aligns with project plans, specifications, and timelines.

  
  


• 
  

  Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact, updating internal teams, customers, and stakeholders on progress, challenges, and solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, change orders, safety meeting notes, and status updates. Track quality punch lists, construction print changes, and submit field-verified as-builts at project completion.

  Problem-Solving: Quickly address construction challenges to keep projects on schedule, including handling emergency response situations.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with other engineering tasks and travel to any Greenlight Networks markets as needed.

  
  

• 
  

  High school diploma required; vocational or college degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred

  
  


• 
  

  OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing subcontractors, field operations, and construction projects

  
  


• 
  

  Telecom, fiber network design, or outside plant construction experience is highly desirable

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of utility poles and attachments is highly desirable

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with construction software, PDF editors (Bluebeam), Microsoft Office Suite, and Sitetracker

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with contractors, vendors, and internal teams

  
  


• 
  

  In-depth understanding of construction best practices, safety regulations, and quality control procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to navigate active construction sites, work in varying conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.

  Must have a valid driver’s license
