Maintenance Manager Full-Time

This is for two locations Griffin, Estates in Niles, MI and Edwardsburg in Edwardsburg, MI.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at two apartment communities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in trouble shooting in electrical and plumbing, repairing simple AC units, experience with residential painting, drywall repairs, basic knowledge of appliance repair, assist with all maintenance needs throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the property maintains an impressive curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly taken care of.


• Provide outstanding customer service to current residents, prospective residents, vendors, and colleagues.


• Lead team to ensure property is clean, tidy, and functioning correctly.


• Maintain property grounds in a safe and clean manner year-round.


• Carry out yearly unit inspections.


• Manage and contribute to the apartment turnover process including cleaning, painting, and repairs.


• Complete maintenance forms and logs accurately and in a timely fashion.


• Engage in hiring and training process.


• Coordination and oversight of contractors.


• Participate in MRD Apartment University training.


• Required consent to a background check.
