At Northrop Grumman, you\u2019ll have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.\n\nWhat you\u0027ll get to do:\n\nSets up and operates a variety of precision grinding machines to perform quantity production grinding to close tolerances where grinding methods and sequences are predetermined and established tooling provided. Performs operations such as grinding compound angles, internal and external spherical radii, threads, contours, and long exact tapers on products, parts, and assemblies or tools. Selects, mounts, and aligns various specialized attachments and standard tooling; interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; dresses, trues, and shapes grinding wheels; uses a variety of precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations; and measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for grinding. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
