Requirements

• Interacting with guests in an energetic and friendly manner
• Correctly taking guests’ food and beverage orders, ensuring orders are properly entered into the point of sale system
• Collecting payment via credit card or mobile payment (the Amway Center is completely cashless), and ensuring guests receive the correct food and beverage order, prepared to the Gringos Locos standard
• Maintains a clean work area at all times. Sets the workstation for maximum productivity and efficiency
• Be punctual, attentive to detail, hardworking, willing to learn and be reliable
• Maintains a professional image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards of both Gringos Locos and Levy Restaurants, our partners at the Amway Center
• Follow food safety procedures
• Ensures a harassment free environment through proper personal conduct
• Follow the direction of the Manager and/or Shift Lead
• Possess exceptional guest service skills
• Strong communication skills in use of addressing guest questions and communicating with management when assistance is needed
• Learn and demonstrate the Gringo’s Loco’s culture
• Must meet and federal, state, county or municipal regulations pertaining to the service of food and beverages
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours.
