Job Title: Grocery Buyer

Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels and replenish stock accordingly.
• Ensure timely approval and dispatch of purchase orders.
• Adjust existing purchase orders to reflect accurate product and pricing information.
• Process allocations and special orders as requested by management.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, regional buyers, and vendors.
• Compile reports and assist buyers with data analysis as needed.
• Attend all required team and facility meetings.
• Contribute ideas that support team growth and a positive work environment.
• Participate in period and quarterly physical inventory counts.

Key Qualifications

• Purchasing experience (natural food industry preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Professional phone etiquette and strong customer service focus.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
• Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of or ability to learn ECRS or related software.
• Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
• Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in and passion for natural and organic foods.
