Grocery Clerk - Dedicated Cheese Cutter

• Provide outstanding customer service in a retail and counter-service environment
• Interact with customers and team members daily
• Prepare and stock items in the Cheese department
• Demonstrate product knowledge
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

• Verifiable work experience with excellent tenure and attendance
• Grocery store, convenience, food service, or retail experience
• Demonstrated retail customer service experience and skills
• Familiarity with organic and natural foods
• Cheese cutting and wrapping experience
• Wine & Beer knowledge preferred but not required
• Attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform assigned tasks
• Ability to read and speak English and perform basic arithmetic

The Dedicated Cheese Cutter’s tasks could involve, but are not limited to, frequent and extended periods of time stocking dry goods, preparing and stocking food products, counting inventory, answering inquiries from customers, and spear-heading sampling of cheese and cheese related products. Tasks may also involve frequent periods of time working in walk in coolers and freezers.

This position requires a committed schedule which may include opening, mid-shift, and closing, and requires weekend, and holiday shifts on a regular basis.

This is a full-time position with a benefits package.

Starting Wage: $14/hr Negotiable based on experience and tenure
