Groomer

The Pet Hospitals is now hiring a Groomer to join their amazing team at our Poplar location!

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Is a whiz with clippers
• An artist with scissors
• Been called a "Dog Whisperer" more than a few times

Applicants must also:

• Must be able to travel between locations
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Have prior experience with dog and cat grooming
• Know various cuts, trims, and styles for all breeds, canine and feline
• Have a friendly & outgoing personality
• Feel comfortable working with pets of all temperaments
• Be punctual
• Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
• Provide photos of past grooms

As a Pet Groomer, your responsibilities will include:

• Obtaining detailed client instructions at drop-off and pick-up
• Bathing, brushing, clipping, and the proper care and inspection of dogs and cats
• Nail trims, nail grinding, anal gland expression, teeth brushing
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas at all times including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning grooming condos. and removal of the trash.
• Booking future grooming appointments with clients
