Our Cargo Charter services consist of urgent 'go now', humanitarian relief, dangerous goods, animal transportation, and pharmaceutical transport.  

Our Cargo team manages the full sales cycle, so all our clients have to do is board their freight! Our team focuses on providing high-quality customer service and making a special effort to ensure your client’s chartering requests are handled as quickly as possible!

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Manage domestic transportation bookings from inquiry to completion
• Identifying and eliciting new client opportunities
• Provide rate quotes to clients for services
• Conduct presentations in client-facing and carrier-facing meetings
• Perform client interactions like prospecting, qualifying, cold calling, negotiating, and closing deals
• Build wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organisation
• Work productively in a pressurised environment
• Keep up to date with market trends; controls costs and thinks in terms of profit, loss, and added value
• Tracking and providing back-up to the domestic transportation team

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR

• Previous domestic logistics broker background
• Knowledge of the trucking industry and market
• Ability to provide transportation sales training to brokers
• Enjoys working to goals and objectives in a competitive environment
• High-level customer service skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong numeracy skills

• Base salary $60,000-75,000 USD with 10% uncapped commission
