A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Grounds & Facilities Maintenance position will primarily involve lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and equipment upkeep at two company properties. Additional responsibilities may include vehicle care, errands, moving furniture, event setup, and other property or office projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, weed, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas


• Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees


• Keep sidewalks, entrances, parking areas, and exterior spaces clean


• Inspect, clean, and perform basic upkeep on lawn equipment


• Transport tools and supplies between properties


• Wash and detail designated vehicles


• Assist with errands, furniture moving, office projects, and event setup


• Report property or equipment concerns to management


• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Lawn-care, groundskeeping, or facilities experience preferred


• Experience safely operating mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, and hand tools


• Basic lawn-equipment maintenance skills


• Valid driver's license


• Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently

Schedule

This position includes weekday hours and requires availability on most Saturdays. The final weekly schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.


• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry materials.


• Ability to safely operate lawn equipment and hand tools.


• Ability to move furniture, tables, chairs, landscaping materials, and equipment.


• Ability to perform outdoor physical work in heat and other changing weather conditions.


• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
