Position: Grounds Technician

Location: Falls at Landen Apartments – Maineville, OH

Scheduled hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay Rate: $17 - 19/hour (based on experience and qualifications), plus commissions

Community Size: 224 units

Who You Are:

• More than a year of experience in groundskeeping or property maintenance.
• Experience with landscaping, including planting, fertilizing, and watering trees, grass, flowers, and shrubs.
• Enjoy working primarily outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto-insurance.
• Willing to submit to a drug and background check if offered this position.

What You Will Do as a Grounds Technician:

• Assist in maintaining the property's upkeep, which includes tasks such as furniture removal, power washing, spot painting, light pool repairs, and keeping the grounds, sidewalks, and roadways free of debris, snow, and ice. 
• Plant, fertilize, and water trees, grass, flowers, and shrubs.
• Oversee pet area maintenance and regularly replenish supplies at dog stations. 
• Address resident inquiries and concerns about outdoor areas. 
• Report issues or damage to outdoor structures and landscaping features to management. 
• Complete light to moderate maintenance work orders and maintain the pool chemicals.
