Grounds Technician

Canterbury Court is looking for a Grounds Technician to join our family. This is a full-time position located in the Environmental Services division of our Life Plan Community (LPC). The Grounds Technician must have a sincere desire to serve older adults in a quality continuing care setting and must strive to provide excellence and consistency in facilities. • Support routine groundskeeping work.
• Keep building exteriors, sidewalks, and surrounding grounds free of trash and debris.
• Empty trash cans and dog waste stations.
• Wash windows and maintain exterior cleanliness.
• Perform pressure washing.
•  Operate motorized vacuum in garages, sidewalks, and parking lots
•  Maintain safe and organized work habits.
• Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures.
• Assist with emergency evacuation of residents when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services.
• Participate in special projects assigned by the Director of Environmental Services.

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions
• Good mental and physical condition and able to perform essential functions
