A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GROUNDSKEEPER:

Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a full-time groundskeeper. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests through maintaining a beautiful golf course. Friendly and welcoming, you provide immediate attention to all upon entering your work area. You are skilled in mowing, pruning, laying sod, and preparing soil and flower beds. Having learned our course inside and out, you also offer information about our greens upon request.

Taking pride in your equipment and course, you are conscientious about cleaning procedures as well as completing all assigned duties. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their guests have a great golfing experience!

WORK SCHEDULE:

This full-time position requires working variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Valid and current Georgia driver’s license
• 18 years or older
• Some high school
• Some comparable experience
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service skills

Experience in a country club environment, customer service experience, and knowledge of turf are highly desirable, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
