ACC Management Group, Inc. is seeking a Janitor to provide day-to-day cleaning in common areas and to assist with ground upkeep, and painting for properties in Jackson County, WI.

Essential Duties:

• Properly and thoroughly clean all apartment units for new move-ins with the provided deadline to ensure completion.
• Properly and thoroughly clean all common areas in the facility(s) including any community rooms, fitness rooms, public restrooms/etc. by following a schedule and when instructed to clean each area.
• All cleaning duties could include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and deep cleaning and sanitizing all sinks/countertops/mirrors/toilets/etc. 
• Use different cleaning techniques for any stain removal or spills that would require additional treatment or cleaning outside of the normal schedule.
• Handle any other cleaning requirements that may be asked on special occasions or that are required on a separate schedule.
• Pick up all trash and debris outside the property(s) by walking the grounds and ensuring it is kept looking up to company standards. 
• Assist the Community Manager with other cleaning requests and work to ensure a plan is established to meet all deadlines. 
• Assist the maintenance team with any unit turnovers or work orders as needed and as skill level allows.
• Maintain a current working knowledge and adhere to the fair housing laws, its policies, and practices, in accordance with ACC Management Group policies and procedures. 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skill & Ability Requirements

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience in any industry setting.

· Experience of property management cleaning is a plus.  

· Flexibility with working hours as needed. 

· Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills.

· Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Goal-oriented and team player.

· Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

· Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and respect through appearance and interactions with others. 

· Ability to lift to but not limited to 50 pounds as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This position operates between an indoors and outdoors environment. This role routinely uses cleaning supplies on a day-to-day basis and maintenance equipment as needed to assist. This position consists of a lot of physical movement and walking to perform the tasks. 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to physically stand, walk, bend, climb, and use full hand range of motion and finger dexterity to touch and feel. Must be able to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and as needed.

Travel

Travel is not required to assigned property locations using personal transportation. Must also be able to travel to all trainings and meetings arranged through the Corporate office periodically throughout the year as requested.
