Groundskeeper

Description

• Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance: Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowers by mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and weeding to ensure a well-groomed and visually appealing landscape.
• General Cleanliness: Ensure common areas, parking lots, walkways, and outdoor amenities are clean and free of debris by performing regular trash collection, sweeping, and power washing as needed.
• Safety Checks: Inspect outdoor areas regularly for hazards, such as broken sidewalks, fallen branches, or uneven surfaces, and report or address issues promptly to maintain a safe environment for residents and guests.
• Seasonal Maintenance: Assist with snow removal, salting walkways, and clearing ice in the winter, and handle seasonal planting or upkeep during warmer months.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain landscaping tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, safe, and in proper working condition.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks on time.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, well-maintained outdoor spaces.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
