Groundskeeper & Landscaping Supervisor

Location: Woodcrest Villa Compensation: $29.00–$31.00 per hour

The Groundskeeper Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the Tandem Living grounds—including shrubs, trees, lawns, and landscaped areas—in excellent condition while providing direction and oversight to the groundskeeping staff. This position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  

  Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience required.

  
  

• 
  

  Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, horticulture, or nursery operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid Pennsylvania pesticide applicator license required.

  
  


• Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard computer applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• 
  

  Oversee the maintenance and care of all Tandem Living grounds, including lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower beds, while ensuring grounds and outdoor areas remain attractive, safe, and well-maintained. Coordinate equipment maintenance and snow and ice removal, and implement established winter weather procedures.

  
  

• 
  

  Supervise and provide daily direction to groundskeeping staff while actively assisting with grounds maintenance and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Tandem Living’s standards.

  
  

• 
  

  Respond to and address resident concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.

  
  


• Maintain accurate records of pesticide applications, treatments, and other required documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational standards.


• 
  

  Participate in the recruitment and selection of Groundskeeping team members by conducting interviews in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Facilities at Woodcrest Villa and the Talent Acquisition Manager at Tandem Living.

  
  


• Ensure the timely completion of new hire orientation, required job competencies, ongoing training, and continuing education for all Groundskeeping team members.
