Groundskeeper- Janitorial Services (6AM - 2:30PM)

Description

Groundskeepers are responsible for the custodial and upkeep of outdoor spaces. This position requires a combination of practical skills, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. It involves performing a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure that the grounds are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs.

• Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect grounds, and building features daily to daily to identify, minimize and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, clean receptacles as needed outside and around the buildings.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter, to include glass, cigarette butts.
• Remove any stickers placed on any common areas including light poles, bollards, signage, dumpsters, etc.
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping, and making repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in groundskeeping preferred
• Valid driver’s license is required if operating company vehicle
• Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Must be able to work outdoors with all types of weather
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and meet E-Verify requirements.
• Must be available to work from 6AM - 2:30PM and on weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
