Groundskeeper/Facilities Technician

Combines  outdoor landscape maintenance with indoor facility cleaning to ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing 

 Core Responsibilities

• Outdoor Maintenance (Groundskeeper):
  • Lawn & Garden Care: Mowing grass, weeding, debris cleanup.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Removing snow and ice from walkways and parking lots using shovels or snowblowers; raking and bagging leaves in the fall.
  • Equipment Operation:  Safely operating and maintaining power tools like mowers, trimmers,  leaf blowers, and occasionally heavy machinery like tractors or  forklifts.
  • Waste Management: Regularly inspecting grounds for litter and emptying outdoor trash receptacles.
• Indoor Maintenance (Janitor/Custodian):
  • Surface Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors; dusting furniture and cleaning windows.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Skills: Proficiency with hand/power tools, and strong attention to detail.
• Physical Demands:  Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs, stand for long shifts (8+ hours), and  work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
