Grounds/Maintenance Tech

· Basic principles, equipment, methods, and materials used in building and grounds maintenance activities

· Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas

· Experience with lawn equipment and tractors

· Perform grass cutting services using walking or riding mowers

· Leadership ability and initiative to work without close supervision to complete task at hand

· Methods and techniques of planting, cultivating, pruning, and maintaining a variety of lawns, ground cover, plants, shrubs, hedges and trees for appearance and functionality.

· Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work

· Basic record keeping practices

· Communicating effectively in oral and written forms

· Willing to work outside

· Attention to details

· High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred

· Leadership and Management experience preferred

· Grounds and landscaping experience preferred
