Grounds/Maintenance Technician I

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Grounds/Maintenance Technician I in Fresno, CA! Come join a dynamic property management team!

**Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of current and proven multi-family apartment maintenance to be considered** Also must be able to work at two properties in Fresno, Ca.

Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:

• Good communication skills

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Perform preventative maintenance duties
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal
• Follow policies and procedures
• Grounds

Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

• Minimum 1 year of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders.
• Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Experience with grounds and maintenance work in multi-family property management setting
• Able to work Monday-Friday schedule 8am-5pm
