Description

Are you a collaborative leader with a passion for operational excellence, process improvement, and customer service? We're looking for a Group Contracts Manager to lead our Enterprise Contracts team, overseeing the production and administration of client contract documents while ensuring exceptional quality, compliance, and service.

In this role, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership to a team responsible for supporting complex contractual processes across the enterprise. You'll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvements, implement strategic initiatives, and ensure contract administration activities align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Contracts team through performance management, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Oversee the production and administration of client contract documents, ensuring quality, accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service.
  • Serve as a technical and strategic resource for the Contracts team and business partners, providing guidance on contractual language, regulatory requirements, and contract administration.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement system enhancements and process improvements that support tactical and strategic business goals.
  • Represent Enterprise Contracts on departmental and enterprise-wide initiatives, contributing to the development and successful execution of key projects.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate operational goals, productivity measures, and service standards, making adjustments as needed to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards that support contractual compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage departmental operating plans and budgets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions when appropriate.
  • Support contractual audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Review complex, high-profile contractual requests and provide recommendations to senior leadership.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 year of leadership or people management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience leading teams while driving continuous process improvement and managing projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with contract administration, legal operations, or a related field.
  • Healthcare, insurance, or managed care industry experience.
  • Experience leading organizational or operational change initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Delta Dental products, policies, claims, eligibility, and underwriting processes is a plus.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. 
Pay Grade 22. $93,500 - $202,500.
