You will as a key partner to management, providing timely and reliable financial information.
- Own the preparation of consolidated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) under US GAAP for all entities in the group
- Ensure accurate intercompany accounting, eliminations, and consolidationentries
- Lead and manage the month, quarter and year end close process for all entities to ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Support audit and review process, including maintenance of supporting documentation
- Review key account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Maintain and update group accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP.
- Evaluate and document complex accounting areas (e.g. stock compensation, deferred tax)
- Provide guidance and training to the team on US GAAP application
- Coordinate with internal staff and external advisors on Federal, state, and local income and payroll tax filings
- Ensure timely filing of all compliance reports and information returns
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls appropriate for a growing multi-entity group
- Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability (e.g., automation, system integrations)
- Manage and develop a small accounting team and build one over time
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license in Delaware (or ability to obtain reciprocity/transfer)
- 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including:
- Experience in consolidation and multi-country group reporting
- Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Manager in a public accounting firm or in industry
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general corporate accounting
- Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ownership mindset: comfortable owning the entire accounting and reporting cycle
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to meet multiple deadlines (monthly close, tax deadlines, etc.)
