We are looking for a new Home Manager in our Troy location assisting 2 clients with living their best life. This leader will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our residential home for adults with developmental disabilities. Ensures the welfare of our residents; provides training, education, support, and guidance to the individuals to assist them with daily activities and experience life with dignity and wholeness. Supervises and directs the work of the Direct Support Professional team to make sure all guidelines and procedures are followed.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Manages the home in adherence to all Federal, State, and local guidelines
- Monitors the safety and health needs of the individuals we serve
- Interviews, orients, trains, and monitors job performance of the Direct Support Professionals
- Ensures suitable coverage based on schedule needs and call-offs.
- Ensures household groceries and supplies are maintained for the home
- Maintains financial records of individuals and stays within budget in all areas
- Administers Medication and ensure all records for care and medication are completed and maintained
- Oversees Direct Service Professionals care and procedures of clients
- Committed to treating all people with dignity and respect
- Understand that all shifts must be covered, if unable to find coverage must be willing to work the shift
- Must be willing to answer phone calls or handle emergencies on a potential 24 hour basis
- Must ensure client gets to all doctors appointments on time
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have Management experience
- At least one year Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Residential experience
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- 18 years of age or older
