Job Description

• Perform small-scale purification studies to support manufacturing processes.
• Preparation and operation of chromatography systems for small-scale purification experiments.
• Perform basic laboratory support work such as preparation of solutions, sample submission, and equipment calibration.
• Statistically analyze and review large data sets and draft technical reports to support studies.
• Collaborate on a small team to come up with new ideas and innovative solutions.
• Take the lead on executing the purification of projects and perform project management duties.
• Coordinate with a broader scientific team to align on lab activities and processes.
• Comply with all GxP standards, GHS policies, and current written procedures and protocols.
• Present on technical topics during cross-functional meetings.
• Work in a fast-paced lab environment.
• Balance multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and execute them independently, while communicating with all impacted parties.

Leadership responsibilities

• Supports and monitors the performance of the team of analysts, including coordination of work assignments.
• Participate in new hire interviews.
• Supports the onboarding process of new employees.
• Participates in the training of other employees.
• Executes performance reviews and delivers feedback to employees.
• Ensures proper time management and workload requirements of team are met.
• Engages in leadership development training.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years of relevant industry laboratory experience, or Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative team environments
• Demonstrated adaptability in tackling new and sometimes ambiguous challenges with a quick learning curve
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong background in laboratory operations and workflows
• Hands-on expertise with AKTA chromatography systems, including a solid understanding of FPLC techniques and Unicorn Software

Position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, First Shift, Monday through Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Framingham, MA, are encouraged to apply
