We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Group Leader who will be training, coaching, and encouraging employees to follow proper procedures as well as acting as a role model for the employees in the department is an important aspect of the job. Making sure the job is done right as well as in a safe manner.

    Requirements:



    • Candidate must be a self-starter and supportive of all team members and activities

    • Must have effective verbal, and written communication skills and problem- solving skills

    • Time management and ability to be detail oriented

    • Ability to perform math calculations and necessary to accurately review and compare information

    • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes; participation in safety and/or continuous improvement activities preferred

    • Must have computer skills (proficiency in Excel a plus)


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    A typical day may include



    • Training and development of team members

    • Coaching and Mentoring the team to follow and improve standard of work

    • Facilitate continuous improvement and safety activities.

    • Verifying quality checks and ensuring procedures are followed.

    • Balance the workload of team members and demand in the zone

    • Provide direction and assistance on difficult machining operations that require difficult set-up

    • Select materials and allowances

    • Assign, direct and work with others on development and experimental work

    • Problem solving and establishing root cause

    • Restoring workflow if problems arise

    • Keeping Zone clean and organized, ensuring everything has a place (5-S)

    • Schedule the area to produce efficiently

    • Track Training and job performance

    • Reduce change over


    Position Details:



    • Full Time

    • Located in: Lancaster, PA

    • 2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM with ability to flex to business needs
