Job Description - Group Marketing Manager


The Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, market share, and profitability across the group’s businesses. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a data-driven approach, and the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives.


ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, Burmarrad Commercials Ltd, is Malta's largest importer and supplier in the automotive industry and is located in Marsa.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the group’s business goals and growth objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Campaign Management
  • Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, events) to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Manage campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Measure and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to the board of directors.
Brand Development
  • Oversee the group’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and communications.
  • Represent the group at trade shows, conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote their brands.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (sales, operations) to deliver integrated and impactful campaigns.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
Performance Analysis
  • Track and analyse key metrics (web traffic, consumer behaviour, rankings) to evaluate campaign success and inform future strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
Additional Duties
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing.
  • Perform other duties as required by the directors.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within a multi-business group.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, campaign management, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, social media platforms, MS Suite, Canva etc).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

WORKING TIME

Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, 40 hours per week.
