SUMMARY:
To provide support and assistance to the Group Sales Department, in direct support of group functions, hotel, casino, marketing and sales. To support existing and new group sales and events. Communicate accurate information about the properties to prospective guests. Report directly to the Group Sales Manager and or Assist. GM and coordinates with Meeting & Event Coordinator/Facilitator on daily status of all groups, events and special projects. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and company policy.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Two (2) Years’ experience in hotel and marketing. Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette are a must. Computer experience in Word and Excel are required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: Communication, ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License, with a good driving record. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in an inside office environment. Occasional travel by car or bus to trade shows may be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
