Job Description - Group Supervisor


Ready to level up your career while having a blast with school-age kids? Wonderspring is looking for an enthusiastic Group Supervisor for our before and after school program in the Colonial School District! You'll be the mastermind behind a fun, enriching, and safe Out of School Time (OST) program. This full-time, year-round gig is benefits-eligible and perfect for grad students or aspiring educational leaders.

What You’ll Get to Do (and Have Fun Doing!)
  • Coordination and implementation of lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices
  • Ensure effective communication with families regarding children’s developmental growth through observations, anecdotal reports, and conferences
  • Collaborate with school district personnel to include principals, teachers, administrative and custodial staff as complimentary supports to programming
  • Working with the Site Supervisor and Center Director to orient, supervise and mentor staff by providing necessary tools, information, and support to ensure success
  • Facilitate family intake and enrollment process
Your Special Skills & Qualities
  • AA in Education, required; BA/BS Education preferred
  • Two (2) years’ experience working with children
  • Excellent, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians and school district personnel
Work Schedule
  • 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
