Group Therapist- Mental Health and SUD

Starting Pay: $60-100/hr

Employment Type: Part-time

Schedule: Various Shifts, Facility schedules can run Monday-Friday within the hours of 9am-6pm.

Company Overview: We are a reputable addiction treatment and mental health facility dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced facilitator to join our team.

Job Description: As a Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, providing medication management support, and ensuring the well-being and progress of each client. The counselor will work with a caseload of 5-15 clients and will have experience in addiction treatment and mental health services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the treatment team for coordinated care.
• Monitor clients' progress and report concerns to the clinical supervisor.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Licensed as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or fully licensed.
• Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in addiction treatment and mental health services.
• Familiarity with the KIPU EMR system is an advantage. (Kipu training available!)
• Empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals.

Demographic of Clients: The facilitator will primarily work with individuals dealing with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) issues.
