About the Role
The Company, a leading provider of veterinary care with a network of over 700 animal hospitals, is seeking a Group Vice President (GVP) for the Mid-Atlantic region. The GVP will be a key member of the senior operator leadership team, responsible for overseeing business and medical operations. This role is pivotal in upholding the company's culture, ensuring associate engagement, delivering high-quality patient care, enhancing client experience, and maintaining financial health. The GVP will perform a wide range of strategic and operational activities, including creating and sharing strategic vision, fostering communication and collaboration, developing key initiatives, and hiring and developing future executive leaders.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of extensive management experience, preferably in a service industry or healthcare setting, with a strong preference for experience in veterinary medicine. They must demonstrate a track record of building partnerships, challenging the status quo, and leading successful teams through coaching, mentoring, and feedback. The GVP will be responsible for leading a team of Regional Operations Directors, Regional Medical Directors, and Regional Tech Directors, ensuring quality patient care, and managing various aspects of hospital operations, including human resources, finance, marketing, and facility maintenance. The role requires up to 60% travel to visit regional hospitals and attend national meetings.
