Job Description - Grove Harbour Marina Dry Stack Marina Operations Supervisor

The Dry Stack Marina Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Marina’s dry stack facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and customer-focused handling of vessels, while managing staff, equipment, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The manager acts as the primary point of contact for boat owners, coordinates logistics, and drives operational excellence.

This role works weekends and most holidays and is fully onsite in Coconut Grove. Pay is DOE.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Supervise daily dry stack operations, including launching, hauling, and storage of vessels.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts, travel lifts, and other marina equipment.
Develop and enforce operational procedures to maximize efficiency and safety.

Customer Service

Serve as a liaison for boat owners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Oversee scheduling of launches and retrievals to ensure timely service.
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Staff Leadership

Recruit, train, and supervise marina staff, including dockhands and equipment operators.
Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage.
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce OSHA, Coast Guard, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.

Qualifications

Proven experience in operations, logistics, or related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of boating, marine equipment, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to operate and oversee heavy equipment safely.
